Rhys believes that the most enduring brands are built on a foundation of strategic design and genuine human connection. Bringing 16 years of experience across the design and advertising landscape, Rhys founded Stoop in 2023 - a Brisbane-based strategic brand and design studio where he partners with rule-breakers, visionaries, and those looking to leave a lasting mark. Rhys’s creative perspective is deeply informed by a lifetime spent in skateboarding and the raw, DIY energy of hardcore, punk, and hip-hop culture. These subcultures, where authenticity is the only currency, drive his "anti-obvious" approach to design. He specialises in crafting the "un-ignorable": distinctive brand identities and digital experiences that bridge the gap between commercial goals and cultural resonance. When he isn’t leading creative strategy at Stoop, Rhys is a dedicated curator of the tangible. An avid collector of art and books, he is most likely found digging through crates to expand his 500-strong vinyl collection. For Rhys, whether it's a rare record or a global brand, the goal remains the same: to create something meaningful that people actually want to hold onto.
